Footprint is a GPS tracker with SOS button and two-way communication. It pinpoints the location of the wearer, and provides two-way hands-free conversation through the built-in speaker. Footprint can be 'paired' with up to three mobiles or smartphones belonging to other family members, providing reassurance to family and users alike. The user can call for help when needed. The family can keep an eye on the user and be automatically alerted if they leave a pre-defined (or geo-fenced) area.
To call for help, the user holds down the button for three seconds ... until they hear a beep. the Footprint sends a text to the 'paired' family members on their mobiles or smart phones. This has a Google Maps link showing the GPS location. The Footprint then calls the 'paired' family members in turn until one answers the call. If the first contact is unable to answer the tracker will call the next number and then the third.
Crucially, the Footprint in conjunction with one of our Anywhere Sim’s, can only be configured via an approved device, removing any possible risk from unauthorised access.

OwnFone’s Footprint is used within telecare to provide reassurance and safety whilst allowing your client independence and freedom.
Although it is a mobile phone its additional features such as geo-fencing and fall alerts mean that it can be used for many client’s needs.
GPS/GPRS tracking allows for instant location in case of emergency such as a person with dementia who has wandered. Footprint can also be used by first responders as a lone working location device.
24/7 access to our secure web portal allows you to locate each footprint should the need arise. You are provided with secure log in’s and we can silo your devices into any number of departments for ease of reporting.
Footprints are configured in advance to your alarm receiving centre and your requirements so they are ready to use as soon as they arrive. The Footprint will present its individual mobile number to your ARC making identification of the user simple and straightforward.

Footprint for Lone Workers
Footprint is an ideal lone working device for those wanting a discreet and reliable standalone product. The user can wear on a lanyard or store on their keys with the accessories provided.
Footprint is configured to either an alarm receiving centre or line manager with an escalation process in place. In the event of the user needing assistance they simply press the button and are instantly connected to their contact in a handsfree conversation. SMS and email alerts are also sent at time of call if required.
Our secure web portal receives regular location information to provide real time tracking and stores all data received. This can be used to provide reporting if an incident has occurred and for risk management.
Footprint is BS8484 (British Standard lone working) compliant and we are fully certified with the UMO platform partnership programme.
OwnFone can offer monitoring services for lone working use in partnership with fully vetted and certified companies.
